There are no locker/changing rooms available. Please have your athletes come dressed to run.  Port-a-Johns are available.


Entry fee: None This year this is a sanctioned Ski Valley Championship


Awards:Trophy--    1 each varsity male/female team champion

     

Medals--    Varsity Only

All designated All- Conference Runners will receive a medal and a certificate.

        Runners 1-5 will be designated All-Conference

                         Runners 6-10 will be designated 2nd team All-Conference

                                          Runners 11-15 will be designated Honorable Mention All- Conference

                                      There are no middle school awards authorized by the Conference.

                          Awards will be presented after the completion of all races.








Entries

You must register athletes no later than October 8, at 5:00 pm 2010. There will be a $25.00 late fee after this deadline) We will be using sydex for registration.  Registration will be at sydexsports.com You may make changes until the deadline. After deadline, all entries are final; no additions or changes.


Race schedule:

4:00 p.m. Varsity Men

4:30 Varsity Women

5:00 p.m. Jr. High Girls and Boys

5:30 p.m. Awards

Please have your runners near their assigned starting box and ready to go ten minutes before the start of their race.  Our goal is to complete all races by 5:30.


Results:  Computer generated copies of meet results will be available 30 minutes (or sooner?) after the conclusion of all races.  All runners will be timed.


Regulations:


Unlimited runners in varsity and jr. high races; no jr. varsity races.

You must have a complete team to be scored as a team.  There will be no sequential blank places added to incomplete teams.

All races will be re-ranked for individuals

Ghost Runners will not be used to tabulate final results. However they will be used to tabulate remaining team places

.

National Federation rules for cross country will be used.


Parking:  Buses and spectator vehicles must be parked to the sides of Kiessel road which is adjacent to the course fields.  Someone will be directing you.


Concessions:  There will be no concessions.  Water will be available.


Arrivals/Tents:  Coaches, please report to the pole barn next to the McPherson home as soon as you arrive to receive your race packet.  Tents may be set up on the ridge to the west of the house and overlooking the course.  A “Gator” utility cart will be available to transport tents from the bus parking area to the tent area.


Your cooperation:  We are guests at the McPherson property and would like to continue using their facilities in the future.  Your cooperation in discouraging littering and keeping athletes away from the pole barn and the back and sides of the house will be greatly appreciated.  Please remind your fans that no dogs are allowed on the property.
